Years ago, I was fortunate to acquire a complete set of Thayer instruction sheets, possibly the only comprehensive collection of Thayer’s secrets still in existence. After discussing this with Lloyd Jones, he encouraged me to compile these invaluable instructions into book form. Due to the extensive material, we decided to release them across multiple volumes, starting with this one.

All Thayer instruction sheets are reproduced in their original mimeographed format, alongside the corresponding effects as listed in the Thayer catalog, enhancing understanding of the instructions. While some may appear brief, this is because the apparatus required minimal explanation. No alterations have been made to preserve Thayer’s authentic wording.
