A spectator selects a card from the deck, which is then divided into four piles, some facing up and others facing down. The piles are shuffled together, mixing the orientations. Although the spectator hasn’t returned their card to the deck, the magician asks for the suit. After the spectator names it, the magician spreads the cards to reveal that all the cards of that suit are in perfect order from Ace to King, with just one card missing—the chosen card.
