Crafting Memorable Stories
When I encounter someone I won’t see again, I often weave elaborate tales about myself. Why not leave them with an entertaining story?
For instance, I might say, “I was the baby in Three Men and a Baby.”
Or, I could claim, “I’m in Slipknot.”
(This guy.)
Another fun line might be, “I played the oboe on the Final Jeopardy theme.”
In the upcoming May Newsletter, I’ll explore a collection of tricks tailored for fleeting encounters, which I refer to as One Night Stand effects. I’ll share my reasoning behind my performance style in these situations, contrasting it with how I engage with familiar audiences. Additionally, I’ll review an effect I utilize in these scenarios and provide my scripting for it.
Moreover, there will be an in-depth review of Marc Kerstein’s new app, detailing how I incorporate the four effects it offers.
Supporters can expect to find this in their inboxes by Thursday evening or Friday morning at the latest.
