About the author: Dr. Todd Landman serves as Professor of Government and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Essex. He has authored numerous books, articles, and chapters focusing on development, democracy, and human rights. With experience in over 35 countries, he has worked on various training and capacity-building projects for both public and private organizations. A frequent media presence and public speaker, he merges his interests in philosophy, history, politics, science, magic, and the unknown to create a distinctive form of mystery entertainment. He is the Founder of the British Society of Mystery Entertainers, an Associate Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star (AIMC), a Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), and a Visiting Professor of Performance Magic at the University of Huddersfield.
