Unlock the Secrets of a Memorized Deck
Invest just 15 minutes to master my core technique, and you’ll experience the advantages of a memorized deck without relying on mnemonics or marked cards. Dan Harlan praised my ebook, stating, “I’ve just had a chance to look over your wonderful ebook. It is exceptional!”
Here are seven captivating effects from the 23 included:
- A spectator freely cuts the deck to any card. As they visualize a letter, you read their mind and reveal their selection.
- With your back turned, a spectator cuts the deck and reveals cards until three consecutive cards spell a valid English word. They concentrate on that word, and you reveal it through mentalism.
- The spectator chooses any letter from the deck. You divine their selection by asking questions about successive cards.
- You guide the spectator through a free association process, leading them to choices you predicted beforehand.
- Utilizing “stream of consciousness” and “thought connections,” both you and the spectator select three cards. After some shuffling, your cards reveal their selections, demonstrating a profound mental link. For the finale, only four cards face up, displaying your initials and those of the spectator.
- After a genuine shuffle, you spread the deck into two rows. As you hover over the spread, you sense letters relevant to the spectator. These letters are revealed, showcasing your mental connection.
- After shuffling, you deal five hands of five cards each, challenging spectators to form as many four-letter words as possible. You effortlessly divine all the words they discover.
As with all memorized deck techniques, knowledge of false shuffles and/or cutting is essential, but most effects require minimal sleight of hand. The included patter is enriched with psychological insights, reflecting my background as a psychologist who enjoys crafting card effects.
You will receive a concise 55-page PDF containing the method and 23 effects, free of fluff and unnecessary jokes. It includes 75 footnotes, primarily crediting sources of inspiration. I leverage the alphabetic nature of the cards to simplify memorization and create initials, names, or other words.
WARNING: This package does not include a deck of alphabet cards; however, I will direct you to various options, detailing their pros and cons. Choices range from affordable, homemade cards to commercial decks like SNAPS, Letter Perfect, or DMC Alphas. Note that a video is not included, and most effects do not require advanced sleights; those that do are suitable for beginners.
