Here’s how the trick works: You tear a 4 and place a corner of the card in your friend’s hand. Then, you step back and tear a 7. Holding a corner of the 7 between your fingers, you visually transform it into the corner of the 4. When your friend opens her hand, she discovers she’s holding the 7.
