Written exclusively for his two-hour lecture in Las Vegas, Marc Spelmann has poured his expertise into this limited edition booklet.
This booklet features eight previously unpublished routines, ranging from a straightforward yet impactful chair test to a book test principle that left audiences in awe during the live performance in Vegas.
We completely sold out of these at Mindvention following Marc’s lecture. The booklet is A4 in size, with a full-color cardstock cover, glossy black and white pages, and is richly illustrated throughout.

Contents include:
- Time is of the Essence: Marc’s impromptu watch routine is logical and effective for both close-up and parlor settings. All you need is a borrowed watch and two business cards, which Marc demonstrated repeatedly in Vegas.
- Booker: This impromptu book test is both logical and direct, built on a principle similar to Time is of the Essence.
- No Such Luck: Spelmann’s take on the limited edition ‘No Chance Deluxe Set’ creates an illusion of chance, leaving audiences amazed at the apparent fairness of the demonstration.
- Perfect Location: Imagine having a spectator focus on a postcard of a landmark from anywhere in the world, and you can not only identify the landmark but also repeat the process flawlessly. This routine is straightforward and adaptable to various themes, with insights from Marc’s trade show performances.
- N.A.M.D The Sequel: Marc has released an updated version of his marked deck from 2004. This deck can be assembled in under thirty minutes and features one of the easiest-to-read marking systems, while remaining difficult to detect.
- PVP – Positional Visual Persuasion: This routine, which received rave reviews in Las Vegas, is a brilliant take on the bank night plot. It involves no thumb tips, awkward loads, or double envelopes—just five envelopes, making it one of the cleanest and most astonishing bank nights.
- In Shaxons Shadow: Marc has developed a remarkable principle that allows you to predict or divine a word from any book, on any page, and any line, all while appearing completely fair.
- IYP Chair Test (In Your Pocket): This elegant two-phase chair routine is designed for large stages yet fits easily in your pocket. Four spectators select sweets, and Marc successfully identifies the person with the red sweet without any equivocation or devices. He then influences the choice of the chair for the person holding the red sweet.
Theory & Thoughts: Marc shares his insights on mentalism, discussing important aspects of performance and persona development in three engaging sections: No Answers, Hurdles, and No Show Willie.
