Aldo Colombini – Baroque Compositions

Explore captivating card routines perfect for close-up performances and walk-around magic. These routines are inspired by my book, *Baroque Cards*.

• VIVACE: Deal the Kings into four piles, and watch as they magically assemble into one. The four Aces appear atop each pile!
• ARIA: An easy-to-execute Ace-Assembly with a direct approach and a surprising climax!
• SARABANDA: The two black Kings locate two chosen cards from a deck split into three piles by a spectator!
• CONCERTO: The four Jacks vanish and find three cards in the deck’s center: one reveals the value, another the suit, and the last is the selected card!
• CANTABILE: Produce a card that discloses the identities of three selections, which then appear face up in the deck!
• AFFETTUOSO: A bizarre effect where one card is found reversed next to a selected card in the deck (includes a special card)!
• MAESTOSO: A card is placed between two Kings and sealed in a box. The same card reappears on top of the deck, leaving only the two Kings inside!
• MODERATO: Two cards vanish from the deck. One reappears face up, while the other is revealed by spelling its name!
• ADAGIO: Four packets of cards unveil the selected card, with the other three mates revealed in the middle!
• SINFONIA: Display the 5S and 2S, which switch places, then transform into the 5H and 2H, with their backs changing color from blue to red!
• SPIRITOSO: Show three cards with backs on both sides. A freely chosen card, such as the 7D, causes the three cards to transform into the other Sevens!
• CAPRICCIO: A freely selected and signed card is revealed among four cards (no selections). A smiley face is drawn on one card’s back, and by the end, only the selected card has a smiley face!
