Gordon Bruce curated this exclusive collection of notes for the Buffalo 52 convention in 2015. This CD features scans of selected notes from Gordon’s previous lectures, many enhanced with photographs to clarify the explanations. Additionally, it includes excerpts from other publications showcasing Gordon’s magical effects.

Gordon’s journey in magic began at a young age, reaching out to Dai Vernon at just 16 after learning about his legendary status as the “improver” of magic. This connection blossomed into a friendship, leading Gordon to perform at the Magic Castle on multiple occasions. The effects in this collection were often shaped through discussions with Dai Vernon, Larry Jennings, Alex Elmsley, and many other influential figures from that period.

As a close friend and source of inspiration for Eddie, it is an honor to present this compilation of Gordon’s notes along with select published works from various books and magazines.

• A Scots Discovery (1986)—Explore coin and note magic featuring a note production, a coin pass, coins through a handkerchief, and a chink-a-chink handling.
• Birmingham (1982)—Delve into card and coin magic with updated visuals, including a color-changing deck, card through a handkerchief, a series of Gordon’s Okito Box effects, and a multi-phase card routine.
