During the performance, a spectator chooses a page, and I tear a newspaper in half. I then ask a member of the audience to select one of the pieces to discard. I keep the other half, tear it again, and repeat the process with another spectator.

I, the magician, ask them to open the paper and pick a word.

With focus, I confidently reveal the chosen word!
