Working with Kevin on this project has been a fantastic journey. Our collaboration involved plenty of laughter and countless hours spent watching videos online, thanks to Kevin’s eclectic tastes.

I first encountered Kevin during his trip to Los Angeles in 2006. Both Dan and I were thoroughly impressed by his technique and unique style. Kevin possesses an extraordinary flow in his performances, transforming even the simplest moves, like the Elmsley count, into something truly remarkable.

We were thrilled when he approached us about publishing his work, especially since it included some of our favorite techniques. The Florida Count with the PCP reveal, Raccoon, and RePainted are standout items. The Florida Count, inspired by my own rhythm count, has been beautifully simplified by Kevin, making it a modern classic. Combined with the PCP reveal, it creates a breathtaking piece of cardistry. The Raccoon flourish, though simple, is as visually striking as the most intricate maneuvers, showcasing just a glimpse of Kevin’s extensive flourishing repertoire. RePainted is a stunning concept that will surely become a staple for every card manipulator.

Since Kevin first shared his videos online in 2004, his magic and flourishes have continually inspired Dan and me. We eagerly anticipate what he will create next. We hope you find inspiration in the material presented in this book.
