The magician presents an envelope containing a deck of playing cards and a set of instructions, claiming it just arrived in the mail. With the audience’s consent, he performs his new effect for the first time. A spectator freely chooses a card (no forcing), which is shown to everyone before being returned to the deck. As the spectator reads the instructions, the magician attempts to identify the selected card. To everyone’s astonishment, the spectator reaches into the envelope and reveals that their card is inside!
