All effects in this project adhere to these simple guidelines:
- The deck can be stacked or gimmicked, but it must be presentable to the audience and can be quickly examined by a spectator.
K.N.O.C.K. Out ACAAN (Known Number of Cards Cut Out):
The magician presents two decks of cards and announces an experiment to locate a selected card at a chosen number. The spectator freely decides the order of the decks. One deck determines a number through the sum of three cards chosen by the spectator, while the other allows for a random card selection, which is shuffled immediately. Despite the randomness, the spectator will find their chosen card at the specified position.
Direct ACAAN (Card at Sum of Values):
The magician introduces a deck, removes the jokers, and shuffles the cards. A spectator cuts the deck as desired and selects a card, which is then returned to the deck. The first twelve cards are dealt into four piles. The spectator randomly selects a pile, reveals the three cards, and sums their values to obtain a number. After cutting the deck again and discarding some cards, they will count down to the number obtained and astonishingly discover their chosen card!
ACAAN C.B.F. (Chosen Between Few):
The magician presents two identical card cases and prepares to find a card at a number chosen by a spectator. The spectator selects a deck based on the card’s value, chooses a card, and shuffles the deck. A number is then chosen from the second deck through a straightforward process. After shuffling, the spectator cuts the deck multiple times and deals 16 face-down cards into four piles. They select one pile, and the total value of the cards determines a number. Finally, counting from the top of the chosen deck to that number, they will reveal their selected card once more.
