Unveiling the Ultimate One-on-One Question Answering Method
Discover one of the most ingenious techniques for privately answering written questions. Originally developed by W. G. Magnuson and refined by myself, this method allows a spectator to write their question on a piece of paper, which they then fold into quarters. Importantly, the mentalist does not handle the folding. The spectator is provided with a match to burn the slip, which has remained visible throughout the process. There’s no tearing involved, and the slip simply rests on a deck of cards.
Afterward, the spectator selects five cards from the deck. The performer offers a brief reading, seamlessly incorporating the answer to the spectator’s question. This approach is remarkably straightforward, requiring no sleight of hand. The ability to reveal a hidden question during the card reading elevates the experience significantly.
With a completely natural execution and no sleights involved, this routine is easy to perform and does not utilize coin envelopes. It is specifically designed for intimate one-on-one settings, making it ideal for private readings rather than group performances.
