Who is he?

Paul Gordon is recognized as one of the premier card entertainers in the industry. He regularly performs worldwide, captivating audiences with his engaging style. Renowned among fellow magicians, Paul has authored several influential books on card magic and documented the legacies of other magicians, including Edward G. Brown, Percy Naldrett, and Victor Farelli.

In addition to performing and publishing, he shares his expertise through lectures on sleight-of-hand card magic. Paul also provides training for actors and technicians in film, television, and theatre. His television appearances include a commercial on Showtime Arabia in 2004 and a feature on Channel 4 in 2005. He has provided personal coaching for actor Mark Benton for the series “Fallen Angel.” In 2010, Paul appeared on Channel 4’s “Morning” show and concluded 2011 by entertaining guests on Regent Cruises South Seas Mariner, a top-tier cruise line. His busy schedule continued in 2014 with lectures across Asia and the Far East. In October 2014, he was interviewed by Latest TV (Channel 8), and in 2015/6, he continues to lecture and perform globally while completing the Gold Dust Trilogy and Quidnunc.

Paul Gordon has been featured in various publications, including The Financial Times, The Stage, and The Daily Mail. Since 1979, he has contributed numerous card tricks and routines to esteemed magazines such as Genii, The Linking Ring, Magic, and more. He has also been featured in works by notable authors like Ryan Matney, John Carey, and Harry Lorayne.

In 1994, Paul was awarded the title of Associate of The Inner Magic Circle, where he has lectured multiple times, being the first close-up lecturer in their new headquarters in the 90s. He is also a member of the “Secret Six,” a group so exclusive that he doesn’t even know who the other members are!

Paul has provided personal magic tuition to over 300 magicians since 1989 and is sought after as a motivational speaker. His hobbies include big-band singing, which he once pursued professionally alongside magic. His acclaimed Gold Dust Trilogy of books reached its third printing in 2014, selling over 2000 sets. In 2015, he recorded a three-DVD box set titled “Gold Dust Live” with Alakazam and embarked on another lecture tour. His latest book, “Quidnunc,” was published in 2016.
