Unbelievable Prediction Effect

Before the performance, the magician notes down some “Random Thoughts” and places them in a visible envelope. This envelope remains in full view throughout the act, ensuring transparency. A spectator is invited to participate, with no stooges or pre-show arrangements involved.

The participant is presented with a regular sheet of newspaper, which the performer tears in half four times, creating a stack of torn pieces. This stack is placed on a table. The spectator rolls a pair of ordinary dice to determine a number, ensuring a fair selection process. They then count down into the stack and extract the piece corresponding to the rolled number.

Next, the spectator verifies that the chosen torn piece has text printed on both sides, potentially featuring an article on either side. They freely select one side to read from and call out unique words related to that article, such as names, numbers, and company names.

As the spectator announces these words, the performer writes them on a large piece of cardboard for the audience to see and remember.

Finally, the envelope, which has been in plain sight, is opened, revealing a single index card that is placed on the table, confirming the envelope is otherwise empty. The prediction on the index card boldly matches the random words called out by the participant!
