Dustin Baker – Stop the Presses
Effect: A spectator lends the magician a newspaper, which is then torn into pieces. The magician writes a prediction on a separate piece of paper and gives it to the spectator for safekeeping. A volunteer is blindfolded and asked to shuffle the torn newspaper pieces until they decide to stop. Once they halt, the magician provides a sharpie for them to mark a dot on one of the pieces. After removing the blindfold, the spectator reads the word where they placed the dot, revealing that it perfectly matches the magician’s prediction.
